The Friends of Five Rivers is offering “Family Fun Programs” November, 2019 through February, 2020 at Five Rivers Environmental Education Center.

WHO: Programs are for adults with their pre-school children.
WHAT: Adults (parent, grandparent, or guardian) and children (ages 2-4) together will take part in exploring the natural world during different seasons of the year. Each 1 ½ hour session will begin with the sharing of a story book on a nature topic. Participants will take part in an outdoor activity that is suggested by the book. After their guided walk, they will return indoors to take part in a craft or take-home project.
WHEN: Each session will take place over 3 weeks. Participants may come either on Tuesday or on Wednesday. (Both days will be identical. Please commit to either Tuesday or Wednesday.) Lessons run from 10:00 to 11:30 am. You may sign up for one or for all four seasonal sessions. Here are the dates for the coming sessions:

Participants will receive an e-mail prior to each week's lesson on the topic that will be explored. The e-mails will be a reminder and a picture clue of that week's adventure.
COST: 3 week Session
FFR Member Rate: Basic session fee = $25 + Material fee per child per session of $10
Non-Member Rate: Basic session fee = $35 + Material fee per child per session of $10
